We are excited to announce that we have added a new live musician to the DB line-up. Jason “Ayrs” Ayres, a veteran of the alternate rock and Industrial scenes, joined the cadre for the first time at a Denver gig in September, where friends and fans got to see him don his uniform tie and rock out with DB for the first time! We are all very stoked to have Ayrs playing with us, we think fans will find his finger-work adds a certain depth to the tracks when played live, and a great energy to the show as well.

What an intense night! After several hours of building out the stage and setting up the awesome light rig provided by the redoubtable Mark Passmore, we got to chill for just an hour and a half or so, and watch the Church fill up…and a room that size fills up a LOT. Sybel played a great set, to showcase their new disc. Then it was our turn to take the stage. There were maybe 500 people there, and quite a bit of day-glo green!
After some sound issues early in the set, we settled into a good vibe, and were joined by guest vocalist, Mark Sousa from Machine Symphony. Mark is working on a new project now, so keep an eye out!
This was also the début appearance of our new bassist Jason, who we think really adds something special to the show. After the set of course, the libations were many, the DB girls were in fine form (in every sense of the word) and the rest is as they say…history.

This is of course very short notice, but DB has been invited to play at a CD Release party with our label-mates Sybel, who have also just put out a new disc. The shindig will be going down Sunday the 6th…during Labor Day weekend no less! We expect the party to be off the hook, so please come down and join us!
