Notes from the Road….Part 3 (Out of the frying pan and into the pit)

The frying pan we are referring to is Phoenix. The venue was all red and covered with paintings of naked women (points for that) and was a pretty cool little place in general. There wasn’t a sound man that night (lose points for that), but we got it worked out and ran our own sound.
A big shout out goes to A0n and ZinForge for supporting us and also all of the brave, crazy souls that continued to hang out with us into the wee hours of the morning.
The pit in this case could be New Mexico, or perhaps just Carlsbad Caverns, which is just amazing.
The caves go on and on, the ceiling is sometimes hundreds of feet high. It is truly awesome. Now, the less awesome part: Houston is cancelled. We have just learned that the club has been shut down, and won’t be able to find a new venue in time for the show. They will be reopening but not for a while. We are very bummed out, but we will keep in touch with the HavoK folks, and rebook when we can.
Hey guys! It was a blast hanging out with you, and I’m glad you had a blast with the ZF entourage! I know there were many many pics snapped and if Jamie or Six hasn’t gotten em to ya I’ll see to it myself.
Look forward to next time (when I don’t double book myself!!)
